Eksigent Technologies, Inc.
Responsible for marketing nanotechnology microfluidics products designed for liquid chromatography and medical device applications.

Led the re-branding of the company identity, from graphic design to messaging, and deployed high-impact marketing programs. Created an entire new website, redesigned company collateral, enhanced the exhibition presence, hosted highly successful webinars, and launched aggressive print advertising and online lead generation programs that included a highly successful nanoLC system sweepstakes.

Agilent Technologies, Inc.
Charged with developing strategic marcom programs for emerging technologies in Agilent’s newly-formed Integrated Biology Solutions Unit.

Conceived and led the development of OpenGenomics, a community-building microsite and integrated marcom program designed to establish scientific credibility by showcasing successful research performed by customers on the Agilent microarray platform. Within 90 days, an aggressive online and print campaign attracted nearly 25% of the total market to the affinity-based microsite resulting in 30,000+ users sessions where visitors consumed 115,000+ pages of content and participated in 10,000+ web/podcasts sessions with the site logging 9,500 promotions page views while capturing 500 highly qualified sales leads. Collaborated on the worldwide introduction of a broad portfolio of mass spec instrumentation, including print advertising, online marketing, and sales tool development that helped to move Agilent from 5th to 4th place in marketshare with sales growth of 70% year-over-year. Deployed the win-a-mass-spec sweepstakes that resulted in $30M in leads in EMEA equaling >80% of their yearly order quota. Created aggressive marketing programs with workflow-based microsites to launch the company into new application areas with,, and that included interactive workflows, product collateral, special offers, and webcasts resulting in 12,000 unique visitor sessions.


Ciphergen Biosystems, Inc.
Marketed a disruptive technology that empowered biologists to perform their own hands-on proteomics research instead of depending on outside services.

Established the company’s first marcom department while completely redesigning the company core identity from logo and business systems to collateral, tradeshow displays, PowerPoint templates, and web environments. Designed a dozen advertisements from concept and messaging to final artwork and organized an aggressive print and online campaign that launched Ciphergen into the proteomics space. Developed the architecture, UI and content for an entirely new company website in less than 45 days that included a users forum, publications database, and 3D technology animations.


Applied Biosystems, Inc.
Over nearly a decade, earned three promotions while supporting ABI’s sales and international marcom programs.

Led a worldwide strategic task force of 35 to address global marcom challenges in the role of Senior Manager, International Marketing Services. Built the infrastructure to support 100+ marketing professionals in a dozen countries creating marcom materials in many languages. Oversaw global marcom program development including strategies, messaging, and creative. And established processes and tools to speed time-to-market of marcom material deployment for the worldwide organization. As North American Field Marketing Manager and Marketing Events Manager, staged ten highly successful multi-city seminar tours attracting thousands of participants resulting in new market penetration, sales leads, and excellent publicity. Created Seminar-in-a-Box and Booth-in-a-Box kits to enable field staff to stage hundreds of local events while presenting compelling company and product brands. Re-engineered the company’s tradeshow program including event selection, production, and graphics/multimedia presentations along with designing a cohesive image for the diverse product lines on display. Organized field sales recognition and training programs, contests, and meetings for sales team of 250.
